  Its thixotropic properties prevent the material from flowing into approximal spaces, and its superior final high hardness (Shore D-69, or Barcol 25 after 1hr) eliminates compression or flexing when mounted to facilitate precise bite registrations. LuxaBite is automatically mixed to a homogenous, bubble-free, non-slumping consistency and can be directly applied.
  
  And, besides LuxaBite’s stability when positioned on the model, dental assistants value the conveniently easy excess removal with a dental bur. After all, the material should be hard, not the work.

  With a Shore-A-hardness of 93.3, O-Bite is the hardest of all VPS-based bite registration materials. The material’s high final hardness is, particularly important for repositioning the bite registration on the models in the articulator in order to guarantee perfectly fitting restorations.
  Softer silicones flex or compress, thus prohibiting a precise articulation. This can lead to unwanted bite elevations requiring a time-consuming grinding process. A direct insertion of an elevated restoration may cause significant discomfort in the mandibular joint.
  With its superior hardness O-Bite ensures a gnathologically perfect tooth relationship.
  
  Excellent break resistance
  
  Thanks to its DMG-developed vinyl silicone matrix, O-Bite exhibits outstanding break resistance. The linking structure of the VPS material is achieved through silicone chains of equal length which facilitate a particularly stable linking structure when cured. For the application this characteristic guarantees high break resistance during removal, cutting and repositioning on the model.

Mousse-like, fluffy vinyl-polysiloxane material. Used for bite registration, copying transfers, and primary impression with bite trays. Blue thixotropic material has an excellent durometer of over 85 and flows easily, yet will not sag or run. The high-performance cartridge allows easier dispensing of material. Regular Set (2:30 total work/set time), Fast Set (1:30 total work/set time), and Super Fast Set (1:00 total work/set time). Rigid is ultrahard with a Shore hardness of greater than 90. Gluten-free.
