Ultradent 90-second Porcelain Etch is used to etch porcelain veneers, crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, and fractured dental porcelain. Ultradent 60-second Silane is used after hydrofluoric acid etching to prepare the surface for bonding resin.
-
Studies have demonstrated that Silane, when used with Porcelain Etch and a quality bonding resin, yields the highest bond strength to porcelain when compared with other porcelain bonding products. Both Porcelain Etch and Silane may be used intraorally or extraorally.
- Porcelain Etch is a viscous, buffered 9% hydrofluoric acid
- Etch is easy to control and place
- Will not stain composite or resin cement
- Silane is a single-component solution
- Yields highest porcelain-to-resin bond strengths
- Porcelain Etch and Silane may also be used on lithium disilicate (IPS e.max® ) restorations
- Certified gluten free -

Transcend universal composite is an innovative dental composite material used for direct and indirect restorations in both the anterior and posterior regions. It provides unprecedented shade matching with just one Universal Body shade due to its Resin Particle Match™ technology that eliminates the need for a blocker or opaquer to hide darker underlying colors.1 For anterior cases that demand more esthetic care, a simple and complementary shade system is available that includes four dentin and two enamel shades.

Ultra-Etch etchant is a 35% phosphoric acid solution for use on dentin and enamel to create ideal bonding surfaces. Ultra-Etch etchant is self-limiting in its depth of etch,1 creating an etch pattern that adhesives can penetrate for increased bond strength and reduced sensitivity. Combined with an ideal viscosity that facilitates precise placement, this unique self-limiting chemistry results in an optimal surface to receive resin.

Optimal Viscosity
Ultra-Etch etchant is uniquely formulated with ideal viscosity. Though it is viscous, it can penetrate into the smallest fissures or occlusal surfaces due to physical and chemical properties that promote capillary action. Yet, its ideal viscosity maintains a layer thick enough to prevent it from running on vertical surfaces or drying prematurely.
Precise Placement
Ultra-Etch etchant's ideal viscosity, along with the use of the Blue Micro™ or Inspiral™ Brush tip, facilitates precise placement and superior control. Ultra-Etch etchant also rinses clearly and cleanly, leaving no residue.
Self-limiting
Ultra-Etch etchant is proven to be uniquely self-limiting in its depth of etch, with an average depth of 1.9 ?m with 15-second etch. In a study comparing etchants, liquid phosphoric acid (37%) showed an average depth of 5.0 ?m at 20 seconds, and a competing “polymer-thickened” etchant showed an average depth of 4.8 ?m.2 Acids with this greater depth of etch go beyond the optimum level and increase the potential for incomplete resin impregnation.
Industry Leader for More Than 30 Years
Ultra-Etch etchant is perfect for any restoration in any part of the mouth. It has been named a “Can’t Live Without” product, called “Tried & True,” and has been a Reality’s Choice 5-star award winner for years on end. -
